The EDATEC CM4 I/O Case is a sturdy metal enclosure designed to house the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and its I/O board, creating a compact, industrial-grade computing unit. With dimensions of 171.5mm x 109.5mm x 28.5mm, the black-finished case offers excellent protection and cooling, featuring openings for HDMI, USB, Ethernet, and other interfaces. It includes a pushbutton power switch for easy system control and securely fixes the CM4 with nuts and nylon washers to prevent PCB damage. For enhanced thermal management, a silent 12V fan can be installed to reduce CPU temperatures by up to 20°C, aided by side ventilation slots. The case also integrates a certified 2.4G/5.8GHz WiFi/Bluetooth antenna and a CR2032 battery to support Real-Time Clock (RTC) functions.
