The SparkFun SEN-11084 is a compact breakout board featuring the MPL3115A2 MEMS sensor, designed to measure barometric pressure, altitude, and temperature with high precision. Operating within a voltage range of 1.95V to 3.6V, it communicates via I²C at speeds up to 400 kHz. The sensor offers 20-bit pressure and altitude measurements, with a resolution down to 30 cm when oversampling is enabled, and 12-bit temperature readings. It includes a 32-sample FIFO buffer for autonomous data acquisition, allowing for logging up to 12 days. Ideal for applications in weather stations, UAVs, and environmental monitoring systems.
