The Adafruit SPI Non-Volatile FRAM Breakout (MB85RS4MT) is a high-performance memory module that offers 4 Mbit (512 Kbytes) of Ferroelectric RAM (FRAM). Unlike traditional EEPROM or flash memory, FRAM allows for extremely fast read/write operations and supports up to 10 trillion (10¹³) write cycles, making it ideal for data logging and applications with frequent updates. It retains data for over 95 years without power and communicates via a fast SPI interface (up to 40 MHz). The breakout board includes a 3.3V regulator and level shifting for compatibility with 3V and 5V logic, making it easy to integrate into most microcontroller projects.
